Here are four projects to make brilliant Valentine hearts with your little ones. They make a beautiful (and unique) garland.
Project 1: Painted Silhouette Hearts
Project 2: Splatter Paint Doily Hearts
Project 3: Spray Bottle Water Color Hearts
Project 4: Paper Glue Hearts
We used tape to attach all of these fantastic hearts to string up a perfect Valentine's day garland. Have fun!
What you'll need:
Multi-colored stock paper
Multi-shaped heart stencils
Paint
Glue
Scissors
1. Trace different sized hearts onto light stock paper
2. Let your toddler paint away
3. Cut different sized hearts out of dark stock paper
4. Glue the painted hearts in accented layers
What you'll need:
Salad spinner
Paint
White doily hearts
1. Tape a doily heart to the center of the salad spinner
2. Drop paint in the center of the heart
3. Spin, Spin, Spin
What you'll need:
Spray bottle of water
Markers
White doily hearts
Towel
1. Color the hearts with markers
2. Spray water on the marker to create a water color effect
What you'll need:
Multi color stock paper
Glue stick
1. Cut hearts from stock paper
2. Glue small pieces of multi color paper onto the heart
